Bodega Norton Reserva Malbec 2006
As we approach the un-official start of summer next week, we looked for a red wine that could stand up to a rich barbeque sauce, but still be light enough for the warm weather. This Argentine Malbec was at the top of the list.
Purple color with aromas of spice and mocha. Flavors of plum, ripe berries and oak. Full- bodied and balanced with a long, smooth finish. We had this wine with barbecued spareribs. It was a perfect match. Quite a bargain at $13.
